Devices
Koalafied™ runs as a full app on iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Apple Watch is a companion to the iPhone app. Here’s what runs where. For first-run steps, see Getting started.
Minimum system versions
| Platform | Minimum |
|---|---|
| iPhone / iPad | iOS / iPadOS 18 |
| Mac | macOS 15 |
| Apple Watch | watchOS 11 (companion to iPhone) |
iPhone, iPad, and Mac
These platforms share the same feature set:
- Home dashboard with path progress, recent sessions, and tiles for upcoming Zoom meetings and meetings ready to import
- Paths, sessions, people, and programmes
- Privacy Mode, search, and Settings
- Import, export, and ZIP backup or restore
- Private iCloud sync for your practice records
iPhone, iPad, and Mac share the same features. Layout adapts to screen size.
Mac does not push progress to Apple Watch. Watch updates come from the iPhone app.
Apple Watch (companion)
The Watch app works with the iPhone app. It is not a full replacement for the phone.
| Watch can | Watch cannot |
|---|---|
| Show path progress rings (or certified state) from the last iPhone update | Log sessions |
| Show a path progress Watch face complication for your first active path | Manage people, paths, or settings |
| Show an empty state until the iPhone has sent path progress | Import, export, or restore backups |
The iPhone is the source of truth. If the Watch looks empty, open the iPhone app, confirm you have an active path, and keep the devices nearby so progress can update. You can add that complication from the watch face editor.
Quick add of sessions from the Watch is planned. See Roadmap.
Do not expect wrist logging in the current app. Log on iPhone, iPad, or Mac, then use Watch to keep path progress in view.
iCloud sync across devices
Under Settings → iCloud Sync, iCloud Sync defaults on when you are signed in to iCloud, and Sync Audio Files defaults off. Sessions, people, paths, and milestones sync through your Apple ID when sync is on. Audio stays on the device that holds it until that device uploads it, then arrives elsewhere on Apple’s schedule. Video never syncs. See iCloud sync. Keep a ZIP backup before Erase All Data if you may need the records again.
